The Evolution of a Meeting, Incentive and Motivation Company
Although Red Carpet Incentives officially launched as a company specializing in the Corporate Meeting, Incentive and Motivation industry in July of 2011, its history and the story behind its evolution go all the way back to 1985.
The company was founded by Peter Crone as a traditional travel agency in the days prior to personal computers and the high tech travel automation systems of today. Of course the key to the longevity of most businesses, particularly relevant for the travel industry, is to keep pace with the changes in times and technology. Crone Travel, as it was known, was always one of the first to embrace change
Over the past several years a new area of the business began to emerge for Crone Travel, the challenging specialty of handling Corporate Meetings and Incentive Trips. This arose out of a natural desire for personal professional growth from our staff and the growing needs of our clients.
What made this transition much easier for the company was the presence of the company’s most senior employee, Caron Lusk. Caron’s incredible organizational skills and thirst for continuing education were the perfect fit for the M & I Business.
So fast forward to 2011 and the decision was made; a new business partnership between Peter and Caron was born.
